Note's from Chief Tomowa!

This web based e-mail is called 'SquirrelMail', so I will refer to it as SquirrelMail.
You will start out in your 'inbox'. On the left will be the default folder lists. You can add folders from the 'Folders' link on the page. The clock will show the server time, which is central time zone You can change this to your current time zone via the 'Options-Personal Information' link. From 'Options-Display Preferences' you can change the display color scheme from 'white' to whatever you like. Lots of other changes you can make also. Play around and see what you can do, read the 'Help' page link.
Your e-mail recieved will show in your SquirrelMail inbox folder until it is downloaded to your computer via your email program (Outlook Express). Once your computer downloads the message it no longer resides on the e-mail server so it is not there to display on your SquirrelMail inbox.
If you want to have your mail stay at SquirrelMail after you download it to Outlook Express you have to 'modify' Outlook Express to leave it on the server. If you desire this let me know and I will tell you how to do it.
